As I type, the installers are here, putting the unpainted doors up and getting everything aligned and drilled for the hardware, then I get to take them down, and prime, sand, paint, sand, paint, sand, and paint them before reinstalling them and putting the hardware on.
I guess this is what $2300 worth of doors and drawer fronts look like!
AKA – “I hate sanding more than you could ever imagine” or “God I appreciate having a kitchen!”

We became quite the freezer dinner connoisseurs. Here we are comparing 2 different brands of “sweet & sour chicken.”
The unfinished doors and drawer fronts get installed and aligned on Friday morning, then I rent a power sprayer and give them a few coats of paint. Then a few days to cure, and the kitchen will be put back together…for approximately 2 weeks before we tackle the next project:
